Sure you've got java all updated and shit? The installer runs off of a .jar file, so maybe that's what's up with it.

Until Mac cuts their retail prices by at least 1/3 no one is ever going to convince me it's worth the money. I've never had stability or major system issues since Windows 2000/XP. I have a kick ass desktop and a decent laptop for 1K less than some of you paid for those mac books! ;p Really, really ...

Yeah, but once you have the sound the way you want it, you can flatten it (bounce it to audio) and you can put the compressor back on.

A tutorial for some odds n ends maybe but you learn by being hands-on.
That's true. The videos helped me out when I first started using Ableton though, so I figured I'd throw it out there.
