Re: The Official Growl Bass Thread
The way it like transforms into a screechy sound around 1:02 I think is awsm, reminds me of Far Too Loud - 600 Years. Care to explain how you did that? :D Thats the exact song I was trying to copy :6: Oli Cash is a beast! I watched his Production Techniques vid http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1oSIue...

Those growls at like 1:02 are really rad! Share some secrets with us ;o
Whole intro is a bit long, and you could smoothen the growls out a tad, otherwise epic!

Seems like a lot of people are starting to nail some nasty shet, well done lads. I only say that because I was browsing the first few pages earlier...most people are a lot better now! Re: The Official Growl Bass Thread
http://youtu.be/n01UOw5uEhw OK, so this has been bugging me for ages. Can anyone figure out how to create the type of growl that comes in at 1:09? I think it's massive (or at least massive-based) since that's what Feed Me generally uses for his basses. Can anyone help? Hmm, the reason Feed Me's bas...

Re: The Official Growl Bass Thread
Needs moar disto ;) From my experiments so far, distortion has just basically killed the wetness and movement of the growl. I might just be using the wrong kind of distortion though. I'll play around tomorrow:D Try stacking 2 maybe 3 disto units at like a maximum of 5% wet each, tweak the settings ...

I think this is pretty much the sound although when messing with the settings you can make it sound really cool and different by barely touching anything. Very sensitive settings. It is pretty cool though. I can upload the KSD is wanted http://soundcloud.com/mattg00d/sporestylegrowl Please do, patc...
