Re: A++ - Kissed By Fire [Glitch-Hop]

Thanks for listening and offering your thoughts.

I noticed you made no mention of the vocals. It is definitely pack with a lot going on. It's a deliberate contrast for the vision I had regarding flow, delivery and even the actual concept. I'll share this with my producer. Thanks again.

A++ - Kissed By Fire [Glitch-Hop]

Hey all, A++ just dropped our latest tune, Kissed By Fire last night and I thought I'd share it with you like all the others we've put out. Please give it a listen and any opinions are welcome. Thank you for checking it out. Note* For clarifications sake I am AMG (AMG DaBlackDude), the MC. My other ...

Re: Densa-Cloud vision-Something chilled

Nice groove here. This could benefit more from bringing that snare out a hair. @ 2:17 the bass groove kicks proper. A few added layers as a minimal approach could really add some flavor to your tune. Even expanding that for an extra 20+ seconds have people nodding their head. I agree with Wehlfest, ...

Re: LXST SIGNVL - Trainwreck (Xanja VIP) (Dark Dubstep/Jungl

Okay I always have to reassure people that I'm only doing comparisons for the sake of relating sounds in order to articulate my thoughts as best as I can... This reminds me of Gantz style. The distortion, the way the drums work, slightly unorthodox levels and sequences. Its solid. Around 3:40 it get...

Re: Looking for vocalist!! [Dubstep] - Auspecs

Just wanted to say I gave it a listen. I find it interesting how everyone has their own preferences for how a song is constructed. I MC, and I like my producer to do as much as he can and then once our beat is roughly 90% complete I write to it. Out of curiosity, is there a particular style you're s...

Re: Echoi - Unknown Entity - (141bpm Roller)

Oh my. Very subtle way to build in the first few seconds. But chilling. The drum kicks are fierce. The way you complement them is so crisp. The progression is brilliant. @ around 3:00 that sequenced transition is butter. You're giving everything the proper amount of time and pacing to deliver a rich...

Re: ERRC & WF - Master Higgins (8-bar GRIME)

OKay, the intro is fierce. Just starts off super grimey. from 0:28 - 0:43 that really lost me. The idea of the switch is nice, but when I think grime I naturally think of an MC lacing the beat. The switch up and everything following it follows the safe formula. Being that its grime you've got to bui...

Re: Bassmatic - Mind Blown (Uploaded today)

You're playing with some cool ideas. I personally like the pitch of the synths, but they sound like they are missing something. Maybe an EQ is in order I can't quite put my finger on it. Build the bass line up a bit, so it can compliment the mids and highs. Right now it sounds like it's being neglec...

Re: GETTING THE VIBES BACK - [Forum Suggestion]

I generally follow a few guidelines that I have created for myself since I used to frequent a hip hop forum for the past decade that had a tight knit community. 1. I generally try to comment on posts from those who have zero replies, and/or those who have a ton of views but very few replies. Or thos...

Re: Echoi - Floating In Darkness - [Minimal Drum & Bass]

great work with those drums. I'm a dubstep head, and the minimal sound really helps ease me into the 160 ish BPM range. This has a really erratic movement to it, but it doesn't suffer from sonic cluttering. I definitely appreciate your technique with that approach.

Re: Koncide - Zu (deep vibes)

This is solid. The unraveling synths building up from the intro all sound like they serve an intended purpose to drive the sound of this track. You're going through the perfect length of progression and timing it well. Those snares could be a bit more prominent. Nice work on this track. I wish it wa...

Re: SubXL - CV$H (Dubstep/808)

To be honest I'll let you know I have a biased opinion on the whole trap sound. I can't really stand it unless someone can create a fresh twist to it. It's not horribly produced as far as trap goes, but it doesn't do anything to keep my attention. And maybe you aren't really going for innovative, bu...

Hey all, A++ is back with a new tune and we've been doing what we always do... Experiment and try to keep things fresh with this bass music/ hip hop thing we got going on. Re: Monti Bassmusic [Dubstar Records, DIGISR, Monsters]

I seriously thought about how this reminds me of Kromestar's style. So spacy and the bass is warm. Awesome pacing going on here. The variations are steady, creepy and refreshing. Good job. I have no suggestions, I'm just diggin it. As well as the track after it. Nice work!

Re: Aragon Bass - Keep Your Crown - Dubstep.

The first synth opens the possibility of so many options. For that leading up to the next section you may want to play with ideas. Like are you going to transition into it, or just jolt listeners into the next section? If its a jolt like currently - throw in a background synth and see how that sound...

Re: Taunga - Follow Them (Dubhop)

This is solid. You don't bombard the track with some many different levels, but the minimal approach offers not only good pacing, but also allows for all the sounds to compliment each other. I wasn't feeling the "uh" sample for the most part, but towards the end when you dropped it back in...

Dude, awesome tune. I have a lot of ties (friends/family) to Chicago and the Chi gets down with some juke and house tunes. Great pacing building up to around 2:10 when you just flip it and make the beat sexy. Interesting vibe here. Certainly had me vibing in my seat.
