Better yet, build a "YoY' patch in FM8, split the frequencies, run it through vowel filtering and a moving EQ notch(es). Sounds pretty cool!

You can get similar sort of sounds from both FM8 and Massive, in Massive I think you can use the Phase modulation in combination with some filter modulation to get it, as oppose to frequency modulation in FM8. I prefer doing this kind of sound with FM8 though as you have more control over the ...

Hey, I'm no expert at this but I have found that the best approach at imitation is to just start out by aiming to create the fundamental aspects of the sound ie: start out by setting up your oscs/operators in whatever configuration you think will achieve the sort of "wwoaahh" formation to the sound ...
