loving the punchiness you got here, don't lose it in the loudness war!!

Loving the vibes on this one man, I think the organic-sounding kick could use a bit of a volume boost however.

Really love the sidechained atmospherics, they could maybe use a bit more high end though. I agree with you that it might be a bit bassy

too much midrange as in the general mix, or too much focus on a midrange bass? I tried snipping as much of the midrange as i could think to without it sounding reedy, but yeah wish i could get it a bit crispier. Shoulda heard it 5 mixes ago

Hey. Big ups for doing this. Got any tricks up your sleeve to get a good mixdown? I'm not talking about hard rules like "put your drums at -10 db", but more vague methodology. Like, do you take a walk between passes, do you listen to the mix on a zillion systems or just a few you know well...
