Re: the classic "take a photo of your setup" thread

If you want the ultimate control, lemur is the way to go. It's a bit pricy (for an app) and kinda complex but it's absolute control over everything. And they just implemented a sequencer in it also. I've tried Theysis for ipd and it's a good idea, but it doesn't port well to iOS. It's just too clunk...

Re: the classic "take a photo of your setup" thread

Thanks for that man. The way you described everything is pretty much how I want it set up. Right now it's HUGE pain in the ass to route everything together. I've basically made a modular system just to be able to use the damn thing, and I still haven't be able to utilize the midi side of things yet....

Re: the classic "take a photo of your setup" thread

Another question. How do you like that griffin dock? I've been thinking about getting the iconnectmidi2+ but now I'm not sure. I use my iPad for all my guitar needs so being able to plug in without any other hardware is a big plus, but the iconnectmid just seem a little more capable. And I can chang...

Re: the classic "take a photo of your setup" thread

I gotcha. It took a while get into it myself, but now I use damn thing on every track. Only problem is one of the encoders is getting sketchy, but whatever. And it's nothing major, but I just remember being able to have more control from the hardware. Like being able to cycle through pads and a coup...

Re: the classic "take a photo of your setup" thread

I've never liked selling stuff, so ill probably have this thing for a long time.

Plus the thing just keeps getting better and better. Although it seems
Like the step sequencer got jacked a bit along the way.

Re: WIP Thread - GIVE FEEDBACK TO OTHERS BEFORE POSTING!!!

Thanks for checking it or man, I'll have to check why my new tune won't play. I made that other one a couple years ago, and no, at not vengeance. I Usually go easy on my drums and don't over process them but iirc that was a couple of layered sampled and some parallel compression.

Re: So, did you hear, Camel Audio has gone tits up?

Well, shit. I think alchemy is a fantastic synth and I'm bummed I would have the opportunity to buy it (I've demoed it and LOVE the player). I also think there libraries are just awesome. Some of my favorite sounds came out of some iap's on my iPad. It's a shame really. Hopefully it's just a partner...

Re: Free stuff. The 2014 x-mas edition

That saturation knob used to be for studio one users only, it's nice that everyone can get it now. Personally i haven't used it much because I don't much care for the sound, but it can get pretty dirty.

I'm pretty sure it already ended. I actually think it's pretty cool. It's basically just an lfo with a no nonsense interface.

Re: How many times could you layer something and what with?

That still didn't help. There's way to many things involved with fixing any of those problems to adress as a whole.

Like I said, post an idea and you might have better luck getting help, otherwise you just sound like someone who wants us to fix his mistakes.
