If you are talking about high end layer it with a proper high passed kick drum sample. For such kind of music I would use an acoustic kick sample.

I personally think the mix sounds great. Could use a bit of the super-high end. Many people forget about the 10k+ frequencies. The frequencies themselves are not that audible, but the effect of clarity is undeniable. I personally actually prefer mid-centered mixes, but most people prefer this "...

When mastering, put a multiband peak compressor and compress the highs as shit, up to 7db gain reduction. Use low ratio, I wouldn't go above 2:1. Set the attack to ~20-40ms to let the transients go through. It makes the track feel SOLID.

Obvious massive bend +/- band reject + double notch + filter fm combo. If you don't know about it you have to lurk moar.
