Re: Need Mixdown/Mastering Service

Send it to me I'll mix it down for free. I'll only show the final product to you. If you like it, keep it. If you don't, then you can look into hiring someone or whatever.

This is the first google result. That isn't what you're looking for? That site is great for learning/practicing beginning music theory. Haha, I'm not too sure, anything that helps me with composing melodies really. Like, I can still get nice melodies by playing on my MIDI keyboard, but most of it i...

Re: What freq does an E2 sine sub hit?

You're telling me side-chaining your kick is the only way to stop it from clashing with a 41 hz sine? No, I was talking about your statement of "the kick would clash with a 82hz sine". You said "the bass always clashes with the kick" bring it down to E1 and it wont Dubstep is me...

You're telling me side-chaining your kick is the only way to stop it from clashing with a 41 hz sine? No, I was talking about your statement of "the kick would clash with a 82hz sine". I'm not surprised your monitors don't have strong ~40 hz though. Those monitors aren't meant to. Right. ...

Re: What freq does an E2 sine sub hit?

Check out this chart. E1 hits at 41.2034 and E2 hits at 82.4069. Of the two, I'd say go with E2. 41hz is too low for most systems to reproduce. You probably would have a hard time even hearing it well if you're using a pair of entry-level midfields. I can feel and hear E1 sine great on my $150 senn...

Re: Dubstep wanted for pilot TV show

A couple questions. Do you have a preferred method of submission? Is there any sort of deadline that has to be met?

This looks like a great opportunity, and I will definitely be working on some stuff to send your way. Thanks.

Re: What's your opinion on this?

Yeah I'd love to hear him share some names haha. I doubt there's one seriously notable western musician that doesn't know what a scale is. that's just silly now: jimi hendrix, john lennon, kurt cobain, robert johnson (the inventor of music) and on and on. don't assume that because an artist uses a ...

If you can find a pair of HS80M's for 500 I'd say go with that. It shouldn't be too hard.
