Agreed, I guess it depends on what your are in it for. If the truth be told I think most of us are looking for success, I just like to think that it should come naturally. Maybe that's a bit naivelloydy wrote:Success is sometimes born out of necessity again just saying lol

Re: 'Yesterday' Feedback Appreciated
I wasn't saying he would have to conform to a trend,i just think stylistically i could here them type of dj's playing his stuff. He has a fine fine production style that i think could go far and was just making a suggestion where he could try to take his style to maybe have a better shot at success ...

Re: 'Yesterday' Feedback Appreciated
In a way i think your style would be much better suited to uplifting trance or something like that
I would have to disagree with this, don't feel as if you should write a certain style to conform to trend. If it wasn't for people doing things a little differently there'd be no progression. I ...

Superb production. Reminds me very much of MJ Cole. Lovely clean sounds, all layered beautifully! Spot on

Re: Toby Dwinger - Plans Within Plans (Deep/Minimal)
Like it, the track has got a nice flow. I only think the twisted reece sounds a bit too harsh in relation in the 1:38-2:03 part of the track, it works well in the part right after though.
Could be something to do with it only being a 128kbps mixdown perhaps? Actually, thinking about it, it could ...

Re: New tune, kinda trancy dubstep with some twisted basses
Hi mate, decent effort. One thing I would say (and it's just my opinion) is that when the sounds come in at 1:23 and again at 3:40 they're a little overpowering. Maybe it's just that they're too loud, but they don't seem to blend that well.

I'm afraid the snare stays! Like I said earlier, it was intentional. I'm happy with the snare, for me it workszerbaman wrote:put an actual reverb on the snare or change it.

Re: Slim Steppa - Ripples (Deep/Dark/Dungeon)
It just seems a bit petty to be honest, and not exactly helpful. I've only just recently joined the site and am still getting used to it. Would have been far more useful for whoever edited my post to have told me what I was doing wrong, rather than just accusing me of spamming

Re: Toby Dwinger - Plans Within Plans (Deep/Minimal)
Thanks mate, loving Ripples too. I'm cool with wub not liking the snare, music is very much a matter of opinion, and what works for one man doesn't necessarily work for another!

Re: Toby Dwinger - Plans Within Plans (Deep/Minimal)
Thanks for the feedback, much appreciated. The reverb on the snare was intentional. It cuts off just as the kick hits. If it doesn't work for you that's cool
