Re: White Noise applications in music
chorus and phasing can work well, and try out different reverb settings, automate the dry/wet to go up/down and the size to go big/small so you get a nice spacial effect

Re: WIP Thread - GIVE FEEDBACK TO OTHERS BEFORE POSTING!!!
Rej- to be honest im trying to get away from the "glitchy" spastic type stuff. I still like some of it, but ive been on a darker kick lately and the super high-energy glitchy stuff where its bouncing between 5 different sounds in 2 bars idk just not my thing lol. thanks though I appreciate...

Re: WIP Thread - GIVE FEEDBACK TO OTHERS BEFORE POSTING!!!
virtualmark- i think the vocals sound fine, not out of place at all and the track hits pretty hard too :W: , i think the snare could be a little punchier with some more "snap" if that makes sense? Rejinx, this is awesome, i could see this being an epic intro for a track, awesome atmosphere...

Re: Lead rhythm..
i think the best thing to do when you are lost is to lay down a basic tonic/domininant tonic/subdominant phrase and just slowly add little embellishments in between and try just slowly make it more complex, play with note lengths, arpeggios and stuff and you will get something going dont overthink it

baasdnb: The sub hits hard and the synth sits really well in the mix. I think the drums could come out a lot more. It has a nice progression though. geting some bigger drums with some transitions this would be a great track. mthrfnk: SOunds great. I think the synths are really well done, they are hi...

Re: Something about EQ
^^^ Lol, yeah I get that, I use Ableton; they just seem a bit unaware that EQ8 can get 48 db/octave slopes (or 60 or 72 etc.) You're right, actually. It's absolutely doable. Stack them up and you get more dBs per octave. But it's easier to just drop Pro-Q there than doing that innit :dunce: . using...
