theres not too many people on here with apc's. i have one and have always wondered how to incorporate it more into production. Only thing i can think of it writing your song in session and triggerein clips maybe while recording automation.

I've seen some mappings that utilize external midi editors that could literally controll every parameter in Ableton but sadly I don't remember any. IMO those complex lines like Skrillex are a bunch of patterns resampled together. It's not just one pattern in FL Studio.

IMO the mix down should be something that you are doing as you go along, and constantly tweaking and re-tweaking. Although that is not to say that a final overarching mix down is not necessary—that's why most DAW's have tools like the Utility plugin which allow for controlling the gain of each track ...
