definitely needs some variation especially in the melodies but good ideas represented

Not dubstep but definitely started out making dubstep a while ago so a good bit of dubstep influence in the songwriting. Any feedback is appreciated. 5 track EP.

really really dig the second track. great vibes. a couple of the patches on the first track sound a little umm, cheesey, like presets and what not. such as the synthesized gregorian chanting choir around 1:04. definitely doesn't sound bad, but not super crisp either. dig both tracks though, good work.

in the first track the snare doesn't have enough high end/crack to cut through the mix.

I decided that the reason the track was quiet was because there was nothing to fill the high register as I had not included any Hi-Hats. The track at the top is now a second attempt. Lemme know what you guys think.

The first half has zero compression so that the second half would appear to sound louder in contrast but I did EQ the rumble out of the kick because it was muddying the mix. I think I took out a bit too much. Thanks for the advice wub.

drops are trypically given their energy by filling the mix, then emptying it out and providing a groove. this track already has the groove, but the buildup feels a little lackluster. I think if the buildup is bigger, the drop will seem fatter. try layering in white noise with a high pass filter. you...
