Re: Guest - Tyrone (Neo soul/66 bpm)

I think this tune would work better without the vocal. I don't know if its just me but the vocal sounds like it is in a different key to the backing tune...but that might just be me. I really like the beats and chord progression with the e-piano lead sound...just think the vocal is very jarring and ...

Agree with all being said. Love that drum programming! Nice mix too! Big up this tune!

Re: Twin Peak - The Effects (liquid dnb)

I like the bass sound, it sounds to me like a bass guitar simulation? Very interesting! Like the textures in the drums too. The chord progression is quite nice too. Nice mixing as well. Everything sounds well placed to me. Perhaps the chord progression (what sounds like a distorted organ to me?) cou...

Re: jaydot-Light a Rainbow (chilled/deep/vocal)

The rain sample is way too loud, its drowning out every element of the mix IMO. I like the ideas in this though. Liking the vocal and the sub combination. However the drum programming sounds a bit too quantized for me, perhaps try some looser programming or more swing maybe?

Re: Sciatica - Dabs (Dubstep/Riddim)

I'm liking the mix. Very lovely low end and I really like the lead sound. Very nice use of ambient chords in the background too. Well crafted tune. The drum programming is quite intricate too and that's not very evident from first listen so well done! Only criticism is the 'massive' sounding bass li...

Re: James Hanvey - Fabulous (Garage)

Hi guys, I've not done any sound engineering studies so just bear that in mind when reading my comments.. Master wise, it sounds pretty good, only I think it might be slightly too over compressed, it just sounds a little like that, especially since the vocal reverb sounds too loud and puffy. But tha...

Binak Versailles - Revolt [Electronic, Ambient, Composition]

Hi, In September last year I self-released an album of original tunes called 'Revolt'. I spent around 9 months making it, and I paid for it to be professionally mastered, however since I have a handful of followers and no promotional know-how, only around 10 people have downloaded it. I'm posting th...
