Re: choir/chorus sounds

Try using a mellatron. They're bad ass. Kontakt has a mellatron sample pack you can try it with the demo version. There might be other ones as well not sure on that. It is neat though for sure

I also love the SPL one. It's so damn easy to use and the results are so gratifying. Excellent plug

Re: The Official Growl Bass Thread

I mean, I hate to be that guy, but don't you guys kind of feel like the "growl" bass sound is kind of spent at this point? I think with all the creative and intelligent minds in here, we could talk about the synthesis of totally new sounds. I know this is the "bass growl" thread,...

Re: You should only ever buy hardware twice...

Makes sense to me, but if you were in a position where money wasn't an issue in any way whatsoever, would you still agree? Of course not, but infinite cash would negate a lot of the arguments/issues associated with gear selection and process in the first place. Ya very true. Sometimes I wish I had ...

I'm just sitting here scratching my head. I coulda sworn there's at least a few presets in Sylenth that sound almost identical to that. Just add some distortion and verb.

But, to be somewhat fair, there is a certain etiquette on forums, and I'd be willing to bet that A lot of the already answered questions are by people with little to no forum experience.

just start a new track and keep the one you ditched in the back of your mind. you never know when you could implement a piece of it into a future project

A fun thing to do is to watch a movie that facilitates a vibe you're interested in on mute and try to write what you think the appropriate bg music would be. I tried this with the dark knight movie and it was really fun.

Re: Tell me your favourite EQ & Compressor

Hmmm, I thought a lot of people would mention The Glue. I agree and that will probably be fine, althoug...
