Re: Coki - Demonator / Indian Girl (AWD004)
Theres a possibility hes not 'refixing' or changing things on purpose but Chef/himself or whoever else is playing it just has an unfinished version. If anybody was gunna have unfinished tunes played its probably cokes. Sends Chef an early version of Demonator asking what he thinks.. next thing its ...

Re: Coki - Demonator / Indian Girl (AWD004)
Demonator does not sound like I remember it. The bassline's been lowered, and the added percussion is just not my taste. Fuck :u: Why Does Coki do this? I don't blame him, he may've just wanted to refix the tune, I guess. I just don't like how he just heavily edits releases like that. He has a hist...

Played a sample of the tunes on the vinyl page... Demonator does not sound like I remember it. The bassline's been lowered, and the added percussion is just not my taste.
Oh well, still, Demonator is alright and Indian Girl is huge.

Re: Ghosthack - Second Renaissance II
Overall, a great listen.
This tune is pretty unique, considering it's built entirely around soundscapes! I like the drums, I think they're punchy and have the right oomph to them...
One thing though: try adding a sub bass to the wobble gives it loads of fullness.
Good stuff! Cheers, man.

Re: Coki - He Got It
say what u want but this tune would murder a dance. its a good tune but now that i just listened to triple six again i suddenly really want him to make another tune like it. tunes like triple six or bloodthirst just give off a really dark dark dark vibe that cokes hasnt touched for a while now. Feedback much appreciated, mates! This is a sound I've never really experimented with before, so this is my take on it! Feel free to point anything out on the track, anything helps after all!
Cheers.

Re: Vectu - Unite (142bpm)
Reminds me of the old Mala stuff on DMZ ;p
Excellent music, man. Keep it up! One thing though, maybe add a few wobbles or a creepy lead (a lead caked with plenty of high-decay reverb and delay usually does it for me ) to it to make it aggier?
Otherwise amazing!

Then the dub horn/synth organ stab hits at 2, not 3.

Re: Songs you can't mix
Skream - Dub Period.
The first 16 bars (the eerie-sounding whooshes) are impossible to mix, and from then on it's impossible to determine whether the snare on the drop hits on the third or second beat.

Re: Coki - Voodoo Dolls/Bedouins (Don't Get It Twisted)
To confirm: Seems, according to an interview with Coki (in the background info, interview: http://www.theartsdesk.com/new-music/theartsdesk-qa-producerdj-coki-digital-mystikz ), "Bedouins" WILL be coming out, but not "Voodoo Dolls" (perhaps on another record later on?), but inste...

How to get sub bass like this tune?
This one's a track from Skream called "Lazy Boy". Pretty much, I can get good subs out of Massive, but not as strong and heavy as this one. Any tricks to get a sub on Massive sounding a bit more like the sub on this one?
By the way, I use FL.
