Hekal & Elektronikz - Dark Spirit [Deep Dubstep]
Hey there! Me and my buddy Hekal have collaborated on this tune. It's only a WIP at the moment (which is why I added the silly tag thing at the front just for teh lolz :6: ) and we are looking to get some feedback. Anything you think it may need done to it, please let us know. :D https://soundcloud....

Elektronikz - Blue Skies On a Rainy Day [Hip-Hop]
https://soundcloud.com/elektronikz/blue-skies-on-a-rainy-day Hi all! This is one of my first hiphop style tracks I've made, and need some feedback. I know this is Dubstep forum, but I suppose there are plenty of people here that listen to hiphop. Anyway, let me know what you think about it or what ...

An idea to improve the Search function
Hey everyone! I had an idea about the search on the site. I don't know what the search goes by, but in the advanced search part, there should be a date option. The reason I am requesting this is because I was looking for bass/midrange topics from times before brostep.
Thanks.
Thanks.

Alright, sounds good. Link?mthrfnk wrote:I'm not sure whether you were after intruments or synths tbh, confused by your posts. Anyways if you're after free instruments, I have a couple of decent free horn, string, piano & guitar packs for Kontakt - which you can use with the free Kontakt player.

Re: VSTs/Soundfonts for reggae instruments
Hi there :) Native Instruments have an organ VST called the Hammond B4 (used to be B3). They also have plenty of stuff in their Komplete package. Applied Acoustic Systems have various options too including Lounge Lizard EP-4. http://www.applied-acoustics.com/products/ But all that costs money, so y...

Re: VSTs/Soundfonts for reggae instruments
I don't know what you would call Kontakt, but no. I worded that incorrectly. You see, if I had not already looked and tried samples and guitar stabs, I wouldn't be posting this.

Re: VSTs/Soundfonts for reggae instruments
I'm not trying to synthesize a real sound, I'm trying to get a VST similar to Kontakt or something that is a sort of sample library, or a soundfont. That's all I'm asking, if you can't help, please don't post. I'm simply looking for some instruments.

VSTs/Soundfonts for reggae instruments
Hi,I was wondering if anyone knew some good VSTs or Soundfonts for reggae instruments such as Guitar, Brass, Clav, and Organ. I have VSTs for Sax, and Piano. I have some good tunes already, but they are in 8bit style, but I'd like to make them into actual Reggae songs or maybe make a really good reg...

I think what he meant by Jungle was how the song sounds like some music that you would hear in a movie when someone is in a jungle.EliteLennon117 wrote:I don't think you know what Jungle is. Here take this thread http://www.dubstepforum.com/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=165683 young warrior.

Thanks everyone! I got it figured it out. The tune should be done sometime this week. I'll post it on the feedback forum after I'm done.

Re: How to make sub-bass more persistent over mid-ranges?
Also, I'm using Massive (just like everyone else lol) to make my sub-bass and there is a small clicking at the start or end of a note. How can I remove that, if at all?

Re: How to make sub-bass more persistent over mid-ranges?
It is a different track, different mixer track as well. I am using headphones, they pickup as low as 20Hz. I can hear it loud and clear when it is solo'd out, but when the mid-range is over it it's barely heard or felt.
