I have an oxygen 49.It's a great keyboard with velocity sensitive keys and quite a few programmable knobs and sliders and the price is great :). Which MIDI Keyboard do you use

I'm going to be purchasing my first Midi Keyboard and I'm shooting for a 25-Key with pitch wheels and hopefully some drum pads. I enjoy making trance and dubstep. I've narrowed it down to: http://www.guitarcenter.com/Behringer-U-CONTROL-UMA25S-USB-MIDI-Controller-106502248-i1410752.gc http://www.mus...

Re: Sub bass

Nice thread, I have a hard time finding a good bass for my songs in FL Studio. Not to derail the thread but,

Question: Are most guys out there just using OSC3X or Massive for bass creations? That's what I've been using.

Re: Essential mixes to get

What I did/do is go to google, type in dubstep website and start browsing all the sites out there. Most of them have download sections with artists who let you have their music for free. Everything from mixes to songs. I also go on SoundCloud.com and check out all the stuff there. Tons of stuff for ...

Re: Reducing the eye strain of computer use

Re: What's your opinion on this?

I think that someone with education in music theory would be that much better in making and producing music. That person would understand what works and be more efficient in creating things that 'don't work' (according to the laws of music theory.) I think it would be awesome to have a real understa...

Hey I have the Producer edition and as a novice it's got sooo much honestly. When I first got started I was like wtf this doesn't have anything and thought about trying abelton. But once you start getting the feel for things and learning how to use it, it's got so much. You have to know how to use t...

Re: Background assistance. (FL users)

So I tried that out. I think I made a mistake from what I was doing. What I had was a Piano pattern going, which I added Gross Beat to, automation clipped it and tweaked it along with EQ automation to get this sound that had my Piano sound, but also created some sort of bass sound with it. I liked t...
