seems more professioanal and gets you seen in the dubstep world
Yeah my personal opinion and don't mind if i say any crazy shit ...

Re: Finished song/Label/Manager/What to do discussion
what you do with your finished track is entirely measured by what you want to do with it yourself
That's why is an opinion post....
I'm asking this because there are tons of things you can do with your tracks, but as anything in life there are better and worst ways to promote yourself as an ...

Re: Hardware questions
the soundcard, weather stand alone or built into the mixer, is connected to the computer via usb. a traditional mpc (mpc2000xl) would not have a usb in/out but would connect to most mixers using rca cables or mid cable.
So basically everything goes on to the soundcard, and the soundcard is then ...

Re: Midi help
Like I said, I'd much rather have more key's then pads at this point... At least the pads on my MPK25 because they are useless.
As for the maschine, it can do midi, but its a whole lot more then just a midi controller. The Korg nano and Akia LPD/LPK series are great for beginners, and you can ...

Re: Midi help
After reading your posts I might go for Maschine, it can cost more money, but if I wait this much, i can wait a little bit more ;)
Maschine got awesome pads as far as I read, it got 8 knobs, the unique problem is the faders ( but you can attribute them to a knob right?).

Re: Need a little help!
You seem like a cute kid.
I use the oxygen 25. 8 knobs, mod, pitch bend, fader.
pretty cheap too, sturdy, fits in a backpack.
There's always amazon.
Yeah oxygen 25 is good but I already have a piano, so the keys there are useless for me , I was thinking something like Akai - MPD 32 , the thing ...

Re: Can't decide
I went to a Apple Store.
And saw the diferences on 13" and the 15".
On the internet they looked almost the same, just a little bit diferent.
On apple store, I saw them side to side, and honestly I dont think 13" will fit to me.
The computer looks so small, but yes for collage use it is very good.

Re: Can't decide
It depends on your lifestyle really....
I specifically bought a 13" (2,1 Ghz ibook with 2GB ram actually - not even a Macbook) because as silly as it seems... those few inches really do become a pain in the ass when gigging and you are trying to bring as little as possible so that it all fits as ...

Re: Can't decide
Definitely 13, really it's all you need.
16 gb of ram is way too much though, almost certain you could easily do with half that.
Actually, 4 should be fine.
Unless you'll be doing a lot of heavy rendering. Like creating 3d video effects and shit.
But in that case, a laptop won't really work anyway ...

Im afraid that on 13" the screen to be small.
