Re: AU5 Bass
He also uses Razor for a lot of his basses, but yeah I also use frequency shifter in Massive to make them. It's my second favorite bass ^_^

Re: The Official Growl Bass Thread
I see true story as more of a Reece so if you're going to make that, I would process it that way.

Re: The Official Growl Bass Thread
So I suck at making regular growls, but I think I might be decent at making Au5 styled basses: https://soundcloud.com/andliberate/au5-styled-bass I don't have a working headphone jack in my computer so this was made on shitty (I mean, SHITTY) computer speakers. Would love to beef it up once I can af...

Re: The Official Growl Bass Thread
James, your new stuff is pretty serious man I can't believe how much you've improved. I'm STILL listening to that Krewella remix. I have more of a general question for you: How do you know if a source sound is good before you start moving onto processing? What are some key effects for processing tho...

Re: 10 Things they don’t tell Music Producers… til it’s too
Unfortunately #1 is exactly me. I started my goal towards producing a year ago and I keep giving up, not finishing anything, because I'm a perfectionist and everything I make sounds like crap. Countless hours of tutorials later, and still nothing. Something I need to get out of, despite it seeming l...

Re: Wonky saw sound, anyone?
Detuned saws would make sense, it sounds awfully similar to a KOAN-styled reece. I'd go a step further and say split frequencies and distort the mid-highs, saturate the lows a bit
just my $0.02 though
just my $0.02 though

Re: MitiS - Innocent Discretion (Full FLP Project)
MitiS is my all time favorite producer and I 100% approve of your remake. It's actually insanely good. I literally wouldn't have been able to tell the difference. How did you learn your sound design and how long did it take???
Thank you for the FLP, good thing I still have FL Studio installed!! Haha

There's this thread . Try: Sub osc, complex wave, second complex wave +1 oct LP or formant filter, automated Sample and hold / bitcrusher 30ms delay w/ feedback EDIT: I also found Massive's step sequencer gives a computerised sound. That first line under 'Try', is literally impossible for me to und...

Re: The Official Growl Bass Thread
Hey guys so I have a few questions and comments: 1. I'm being serious when I say this, but I might record myself burping and then running that though a vocoder, and resample it, and it think I could get a good growl out of it. Just an epiphany I just had. 2. I LOVE vocodex. I recently moved from FL ...

Try throwing a macro on some of the wavers led and amps and automating themLiving_Tragedy wrote:Soundcloud
Okay, so I added a bunch more processing and filtered out some frequencies I didn't like. Added a bit more vowel movement too. Still a little clueless though.

Re: Grapihc Designer for Logo?
Misk wtf could you possibly be adjusting at like hour 12 of that logo? I literally don't think I've ever spent more than 5 hours on stuff for myself... Illustrator is good, similar to photoshop but more mathematical and less by-the-artist-eye per se. Either one will work fine. However I agree with t...
