Re: Looking for some feedback: Nostalgia by Set Forth

Sounds cool. I think that lead saw you have could be distorted a little more. The plucks are pretty funky

Re: Tips on making this drop more intense?

I think a powerful low octave bass would sound pretty cool combined with that higher synth. Maybe make that subbass a little louder and add some overdrive. A nice midrange bass with distortion would probably add some impact

Just search for any names of groups tha you think would be relevant to the track (including free download). Than, look under the name of the group for how many users it has. If u think it has a lot of users, join it. Then go back to your track and click the little group add option (it looks like lit...

Re: things that have made you happy today

Today at Walmart some elderly lady was standing behind me and my mom talking quite loudly, to who i think may have been her son, about her pills giving her chronic diarrhea. Then, all of a sudden, shes like "OH NO. HERE IT GOES AGAIN!" and she quickly ran off. The cashier smiled and calmly...

Re: Anatolian - Kamil In Turn / Trip (Dubstep)

Really good song. The melody in the intro was pretty intense. I really liked the part with the high pitch synth on top of the sub. Sorta like Doctor P in a way but i found yours to be pretty unique, and i liked how it kept going for a few bars

Re: Monika - All Night (GROARSZNI Dubstep Remix)

I think that supersaw may need a little work. A LP filter with the cutoff modulated so its a downward ramp may make it sound a little more like what you want. Watch a few youtube tutorials on seven lions sounds for whatever synth your using and you'll probably have some better results. Then maybe bo...

Re: Bonéz-Don't Dubtrip (Unmastered WIP) Produced At The Hot

The instrumental is reaally nice. But i think maybe you should work on the lyrics a little bit. Not to go all "racism police" on you, but from what i can tell your white, and the N-Word is a word us white folk really shouldn't be using :a: also the lyrics seem a little bit "Pussy-mone...

Re: Sudół - Destructive Interference (Drone/Noise)

Neat stuff man! The first little bit with just the low frequencies felt quite soothing, almost as if i was listening to bianural beats. It has a very alien transmission vibe what with the high frequencies and whatnot. Kinda like those government number stations used for spies

Real mellow stuff man. Im gonna play it during the sesh tomorrow and see what my buddys think of it. That synth at the start is kinda cool, reminds me of some of the music that plays in ghostly areas of the pokemon games

I saw that one on the remixcomps website. And yeah thats one of my favourite parts about entering remix contests, you either win and get some cool stuff and exposure, or you lose and you get to keep your fans happy by giving them a free track. Either way its a plus for you

This was a very enjoyable track! Super dark and you created a really good atmosphere with the plucks. I was gonna download it but i see its in wav format, 63 mb. On my internet connection that'll take way to long. Post it to some groups and see what others think. I've noticed people tend to listen m...

Re: Anyone out there got any production tips for me?

Well i'm not all that experienced with this stuff, so i don't really know what you would need to improve on, but i personally really liked the track. That stuff you did with the vocals sounded really neat and creative, although it may have just been because it was french. A more experienced producer...

Re: Melodic dubstep (or trancestep?)

The melody is decent, but the track sounds a little empty. Add some wide pads, even a wide subbass will go far. You definately need to work on the arrangement with the sidechained supersaw and the wobbles. A good aggressive growl to go under with the supersaw would be a good idea to. Im a big fan of...

You probably noticed that lack of bass after exporting? Ive had this problem in the past. Try turning the ceiling down a couple DB on the limiter. When you export, make sure its to 320 kbps and ive found 512 pt sinc seems to help (it takes a long time to export though). Maybe visit the money shot th...

Re: Vape by Cryptic (Dubstep/Deep)

Its pretty good. I personally like songs with a little more melody, and the midrange basses could use some messing around. The intro was pretty cool, but i dont know if a Cartman sample is the best choice for a deep Dubstep song :p

That corridor one is pretty good. The subbass was sorta unique, and the background noises were perfect. Yellow car sounds a bit to crowded

Re: ZenSin-Eternal Days(Deep)

Pretty cool track. I really like the choir samples in the intro. Im not a huge fun of the wuaaa bass. I think it would sound cooler if you spread it out a bit with a chorus or something, than made the subbass a little louder

Anyone ever played Fez? Very uplifting game with an amazing sountrack. Also antichamber is good if your into the deeper trippy stuff. Its like if you were trapped inside that crazy stairs painting and you figured it would be a good time to drop some acid
