big respect. I can imagine this tune making some serious action on the dance floor. ;)

Re: Johney - Tapeworm dub

Intro sound good, although short. The hats that pan left to right seem a tid bit too loud, but since they are really the only hats throughout the mix that don't matter then. I do feel the idea is pretty solid but it seems you stretched the track out beyond its playing time with out any variation. Sp...

You've got that dub vibe down, I really enjoyed this. I'll be listening to more of yours

Re: RIG-RAG Cryptic Chambers (deep dubstep)

sounds good, subbass stabs could be extended a little more to cover more ground I think, maybe give em a lil more low end too. good use of effects, dig the dubby vibe as well. The one thing that sort of irritated me in your track is the grit in the background of the synth melody that comes in from ...

Re: Fayte Remix Competition Entry

WOW This is awesome. This is a odd thing for asking mixdown questions imo., as ive never heard anyone make a song like that If it sounds good it sounds good, and this definitely sounded cool. I would say obtain a better vocal mic and i think that would help IMMENSELY. Overall cool idea and im going ...

Re: Evil D Album Teaser (Bangers of a different nature)

Picking between the four, crime side would be my pick, almost even just hearing the intro.
And speaking of the intro, why not bring that melody back in a different section.

big ups

Re: No Beef (Shenfeld remix) [dnb]

I understand hats in the intro is necessary for djs but in this case i would say forget people who cant manually sync stuff based on knowing a track, and take those hats out of the intro. The only conflict i really can pick up is the vocal and that main lead, maybe try slightly cutting mids from tha...

Re: Castle - Lazy (deep jazz/percussive)

Yeah ill third some variation, and good ideas. But dont let it discourage you getting a good idea is half the battle, then arrangement. As far as mix bring that pad down a bit like 10 db maybe more. Look into structuring as well, most tracks move in 16 bar sections or 32. your intro seems to be only...

Re: Shenfeld - Luta [experimental/future]

This is pretty cool, the sounds have a very mellowed feel, which compliments the key well. The only thing that stands out is the variation of the vocals seems to slightly lack, although the pitch and progression of the vocals were good, the rhythm of them feels a bit short in a couple of spots. i wo...
