I just tried going to the Mixcloud site and every time (tried about 10) I selected play a dialog came up, saying login with FB or provide MC credentials.

*chuckles*

ive always been interested in having a jam on a rotary mixer, but i dont think it fits my style (im not a exactly a commander of the long transitions lol) And I'm mostly useless as tits on a bull when it comes to maintaining two active channels at all times for genuine 3 deck mixing. I'll occasiona...

Nope.

Anywhere we could listen to your mixes online? Not at the moment. Closed up my Soundcloud account because I had too many takedowns and couldn't be boned with all those tricks like 30-second gaps and junk. Mixcloud blows now they require listeners to login with Facebork. Haven't recorded in ages...m...

*shrugs*

No better or worse. Just depends on how my mood takes me. The rotaries have a different slope and I enjoy holding and bending blends (well, trying to) for minutes at a time with them. Use it primarily for bass and any 4/4. Faders I use for all styles. The P+G components on the regular Empath are hea...

No, it's not a back-and-white photo...

Still not producing anything. Enjoying other people's music too much. Slight update since I last posted: http://i42.tinypic.com/23l15hi.jpg One of the things that irked me about the Stantons was a lack of a suitable dust-repelling solution: Well: http://i41.tinypic.com/24xexr8.jpg For anyone with an...

Re: My go.

Image WOW man, slick set up. would love to try mixing on rotary, i always hear how nice it is :Q: Cheers. It's heaps nice but simply personal preference. No better or worse than regular faders (especially when they're P+G...those things are buttery as). I'd do terrible, TERRIBLE things to have my c...

Re: the classic "take a photo of your setup" thread

Techno, house and dubstep I'll attempt the three deck mix. Drum'n'bass is usually over two decks and as I find the right combo whack in hip-hop tracks on the third. Also use SSL, though try to stave off referring to BPMs or waveforms (though they're bloody distracting). I've got an Empath and Rotary...

My go.

Seeing as the taboo's been broken and DJ setups are welcome, time for this lurker to post:
