Re: Apply what youve learned?

would this work by breaking them down in ableton live ? take a song, break it down into parts through repetetive listening and then make a song that conforms to its changes (not reusing any parts other than the layout of the song)

Re: Apply what youve learned?

in your DAW your set is your main starting file. basically organization (so ive heard) is kkey to allowing your creative juices to flow. Ive heard tell its best to automate the functions you do most often, that way you can just drag and drop

Re: Apply what youve learned?

wow, really good replies. half time and whole time... after a few hours of researching into the styles of dubstep (half times, third times, using minors) I found something really cool with a lot of explanation. Re: Apply what youve learned?

Apply what youve learned?

Hows it going? My name is Jeff, and I've got to say, that I enjoy producing. The problem with my producing abilities (and in fact abilities of making anything) is applying the things I learn. It doesn't matter how many times I actually go and make something, I just am not able to make it into a sens...

Re: De Drum - Star Light

youve got the ideas right. But your sounds arent even opposites. what i mean by that, is they are so far apart, that they cant even be considered opposites, because that would still have melodic context. I suggest some music theory lessons. the sounds were good though, and if they were in two differ...

Re: FEEDBACK

i like the lead up and drop in azteks its pretty good, a little repetitive and the levels of your sounds are a little out of wack but a little 5 to 10 minutes of work should fix that :) tell me how you like mine? https://soundcloud.com/djellbee/loud-like[soundcloud]https://soundcloud.com/djellbee/lo...
