use sub bass, it makes it easy. basically, just have the sound/song playing that you want to find out what key it's in. then start playing different ...

I think i saw you mention you use FL... If you're happy and comfortable with FL then stick with FL... You can make industry standard tracks on pretty much any software, including FL Studio. It's not about what you're using, it's how you use it.

I understand the principle of what you guys are saying with cuttings freq's and making space. But what im not getting is the fact the vocal uses so much of the spectrum, so on one word it could have dead sound at a certain freq but then on another word it would be filled.. does ...
