is it some kind of multiband compression?i just can't get my head around it.

Hrm...I'd have to listen to be convinced...because the rokit line (I've heard and worked on to some extent the 5s, 6s, and 8s) and they are really pretty shit IMO for how much they cost... The low mids are just disgusting, the low end is hyped, the highs are fatiguing...I couldn't believe the diffe...

Anyone know why the velocity sliders don't work? Ill shift them up and down but it does nothing. if you use them in drum racks, you have to go into the settings for your sample and then adjust the percentage of the velocity you want to have(right under the volume) its like a dry/wet-knob, same thin...

i would recommend the focusrite 2i2/2i4. the 2i4 is great sounding with my rokit 5s and its not too expensive!

yeah i already noticed that! i love how you can set up an command-click for example for cutting stuff! so much better than in ableton.
now i just need to find something simpler-esque (esx24?) and something to make drums quickly (i am used to ableton drum racks..)
