Re: Kill the Noise/ Skrillex bass sound design

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N5Y0N5BbCqo skip to around 29.30 for the sound so your not wasting your time. He uses First of the year with this but I imagine its the same concept used in Lick it as it does sound like the growl is saying something in that dunno what tho. He has done some things in t...

cool works man.

my feedback would be add a ride on your snare/clap to give it the feel of space. Good work man don't stop :)

Re: Firewall Paradox - Through The Firewall (Dubstep)

Haha!! well for a start i had Kill the noise playing in the other tap and thought i'd pressed play on urs! fucked me up so hard. Being honest i think your basses blend in my opinion. It's a cool song different to what a lot of the songs on here are like! I do agree with the weak snare though! try bi...

Re: Koncide - Forces (deep and chilled)

Sweet track mate, i can't really judge on the mixdown because not on decent headphones/speakers but sounds pretty solid. really chilled track mate i can only make one comment or suggestion is maybe add like a very faint faster melody appear halfway through (Kinda Deadmau5 style) or something? maybe ...

Re: Really need some comment on my incomplete track..

hyea, I suck at creating melody, got any suggestion on how to improve it? Whenever I try to alter the melody abit, it sounds so dang bad :( Hey man, cool stuff like one of the comments on the SC says gameboy style! maybe sample some Zelda or your favorite old skool game as your drop line? Improving...

Re: Little Boots - Satellite (my remix, please help)

really cool mate, especially when the vocals kick in got a great feel to it. As for feedback maybe tone down that glitch fragment or w/e it is a little maybe about -2.3dbish seems quite loud considering i wouldn't make it the main focus of the song like when your slow wobble comes in that really wan...

Re: How would I achieve the purest sawtooth?

If your still wondering this try a V modular VST BY ARTURIA or summit like that. You can try a demo for about 20 minutes which I'm sure is a good enough amount of time to load a SAW on one of the OSCS. It's very old school but pure and seems real if that makes sense

Re: Zeenith-Weazly (Clip) (Dubstep)

thats so heavy on the drop its mad, if i was you at the start i would add a bit of reverb on the high end of your snare make it a bit more splashy which is quite common in this sort of bass music

Really heavy mate, good stuff! I'd make the the mid bass thicker but thats only my preference anyway, got a Getter style to it.
