I think the kick is abit muffled though, particularly during the drop. Snare too. I don't think sidechaining would fix it either so I'd just change it completely or remove most of the bottom end during the drop.

I got the closest I could to this sound in Massive a long time ago. It's an old track (re uploaded recently hence why so recent) but it has a similar sound to Squid Attack I think.
