Re: Zomboy - Back Once Again Sounds
I feel like it involves a phaser or comb filter for the downward movement

Re: The Official Growl Bass Thread
That's sick! Just two questions.
What exactly is Nemesis?
And could you give some more insight into how you made this?

To me, it sounds like it needs some delay or comb on top of the filter movement

Re: Question about arranging
Try applying the same effect (compression, saturation, etc) to each sound. That helps create harmonic similarities between the sounds.

Re: The Official Growl Bass Thread
Check out the growl i made with just the woody wavetable. I was surprised to get such a sweet sound out of such a seemingly dull wavetable. Its not much of an example but here it is... https://soundcloud.com/chrisplatowmusic/growl-sample If anyone wants to know the sweet deets lemme know deets plz

Zomboy High Pitched Wobble (not Terror Squad)
So there is a wobble in the new Zomboy remix that I'm trying to recreate in massive and it has me stumped. It occurs at 1:37 in the song. https://soundcloud.com/dillonfrancis/when-we-were-young-zomboy-remix It doesn't sound like a scream filter but it still has a fairly harsh quality to it, and it s...

Not necessarily Zomboy style, but it should help open up your options.

Glitch Hop Pluck? (Space Cats, Patient Zero, etc.)
Does anyone know how to make the pluck/stab in Space Cats by Eptic? It occurs at around 0:55 and repeats throughout the first part of the drop. https://soundcloud.com/eptic/eptic-space-cats Similar sounds are found in Patient Zero by Zomboy (0:47-1:15) https://soundcloud.com/zomboy/patient-zero Any ...

Re: How to level the volume of a modulated bass?
If you really, REALLY wanted to, you could cut the quiet parts and level them all manually. However, I would just fiddle around with a compressor until you get something nice. I think Ableton's glue compressor would work well, or Fruity Limiter's mastering preset if you use FL. Essentially, you want...

I'm in, but a quick question, since I'm probably misreading something. Is this going to be strictly a chat thing or will there be calls too? Either way, I'm so pumped for this.

Re: Skrux Kicks / Snares / Claps
I may be wrong, but a few of those sound like UK Garage samples to me. I have a huge pack of them, but I have no idea where I got it, sadly. A simple google search may help you find some, but then again I could be totally wrong about all of this. I hope I somewhat helped you.

How to make a Seven Lions ambi-glitch Noise?
Does anyone know how to make a seven lions kinda ambient glitch? Like in the beginning of this remix: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QBVIqTV0VNs or in the stems for "Days to Come"? I tried this synth called BendBox (which is a great free circuit-bent emulator synth thing) but that's way to...

Pegboard Nerds "Bounce-ish" Synth
I was wondering if you guys could help me make the bouncy synth bass sound in the song "20K" by Pegboard Nerds. The synth is the main sound of the second half of the drop (at around 1:20). I feel like it's a enveloped sine with feedback in Massive, but can't ever make the sound when I sit ...
