One tip I have for you is learning how to implement grooves into your hi hats..It makes them waaaay less stagnant.

Kind of hard to innovative when there's so many artists out there and so many tunes..something will sound similar since there IS criteria to have a good tune as well. We will see what 2014 holds. Easier said than done.
