Re: Vengeance Dubstep Samples
I wasn't implying you were running away from the argument, I was implying you were running away from the gauntlet nwjeez threw down. Are those producers more talented than me? At making club bangers maybe. I could probably school most of them in a producing from scratch competition though. No prese...

Re: Vengeance Dubstep Samples
Yeah instead of acknowledging the fact that you're flat out wrong and can't substantiate your claims, you'll quote me out of context to make it look like I'm running away from an argument in which you're unable to follow through with a rational rebuttal. It stands to reason, of course, because there...

Re: Vengeance Dubstep Samples
None of the producers whom I listed above sound anything like another, and what's more, they're all monumentally more talented at producing and standing out than you are. The jump from "if you like using pre-made drum samples, you must want to use pre-made EVERYTHING!" is wholly fallacious...

Re: Vengeance Dubstep Samples
Indeed, there is tons and tons of information to substantiate the contrary : Vengeance samples are used by tons of people, including the top of the charts producers. https://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=AdExX1FXtFI#t=114 http://mylittleremix.com/viewtopic.php?f=11&t=7591...

THIS.
Also, your track is lacking severely in the low-mid range. That area is pure gold.

Re: Vengeance Dubstep Samples
This thread sucks.
Yes they're legal to use.
The only people who will chastise you for using Vengeance samples are the ones who are making shit tier music.
Discussion over.

Re: Anyone else filter their master buss as aid while mixing
Doing it helps me turn up the volume a lot louder for the low end without all the highs getting on my ear nerves. And allows me to focus on that region without the highs distracting me.

Re: Anyone else filter their master buss as aid while mixing
I do this, but most often just to check the lows. Like 130hz and down. I've made a rack so that I can flip between highpass/lowpass, 100hz-500hz, and gentle/hard slope (12db / 48db Ableton's EQ8) I'll throw that just before my limiter so that I can listen to how the lows are sounding, or how everyth...

157k a year? Absolutely positively not.
Sadly, there were tons of great samples for free up there that will be hard to find again. Thankfully I have them all.

Re: Komplete Product Cycle
Wait til 10. I'm on 8 and the upgrade to 9 is totally not worth it. 9 didn't do much. 10 will likely include something awesome like Reaktor 6 or Massive 2. Absynth 5 is tight but if you don't use it much, you won't be ecstatic about this perk. Guitar Rig 5, same story. Kontakt 5 is probably the only...
