Re: Bass processing in FL Studio
I think that's just one of the risks you have to take with bouncing stuff, I have pretty much the same process as you but I leave it as late as I can so I'm more or less sure that I'm not going to need to change anything. A couple of times I've wanted to change stuff but ended up just keeping it bec...

Cheers for the feedback, I brought the drums through a little bit more and removed some of the harsher frequencies from the bassline

Re: Free EXUDE / MANTIS / SADHU Massive Patches! BEST EVER
There is need to hate if you're claiming that they sound like certain artists, when really they sound like you arbitrarily picked some wavetables and called it a day Also They sound more "interesting" than the sounds I hear in your productions on your Soundcloud.. Don't lie Infact you can ...

They sound like most peoples first tries with Massive, there's nothing really interesting happening within the patches

Re: Getting fat drums without eating your headroom!
If you highpass the basses when the kicks and snares hit you get the nice clean thump without having to fight the bass with sidechain compression. I really struggle to get the drums to sound clear enough in the mix when I sidechain and doing this was a game changer in my mixdowns. Manually putting i...

Have you tried unscrewing the front allen key screws and smoothing it out? I had to do something similar the other day and it was fine, just keep the monitor on its back so the speaker doesn't fall out

Re: I need some help with sytrus
There's a guy on Youtube called Seamless that has a mad ton of bass tutorials for Sytrus, just search like 'how to bass seamless' to find them I've used it for a few months and the built in LFOs and stuff are pretty much ideal for making wobbley basses

Re: Just getting in the habit of bouncing, couple Q's
I try to bounce stuff as close to 0db as I can without clipping and basses usually tend to look like blocks, and that's with no compression, so I'm guessing it's normal. If I bounce basses at like -14db they look like 'normal' waveforms.

Re: My kick drum sounds too clicky!
Lowpass the sub and highpass the kick so that they don't overlap too much and they should sound a lot better, around 100hz is good

Re: Is most feedback worthless?
I think it also relies a lot on how that feedback is interpreted, you could give someone the best possible advice but if they just think you're being a dick then it's not going to be very useful
