Re: SoullessTech - Glass City (110Bpm/Glitch Hop)
Maybe get rid of the first 18 seconds of it so the beginning isnt too long, and on the bass id say get rid of the pan effect. Other than that i think it sounds really good

Re: what would you call this exactly
well good thats a relief lmao. i just wanted an opinion on the way the track was laid out. a lot of 'brostep' or whatever is more fast-paced but i want something a little more progressive, a little slower, but at the same time with a flashy electro feel. i feel the genre has evolved way to fast, or ...

Re: best filter to use for growls?
No I don't assume you're a noob, I assume that anybody who wants a certain program to make a certain sound, one, doesn't know much about sound design, and two, is working off the mentality that a noob could play a PRS better than he could play an ibanez geo, the equipment doesnt matter. If you're w...

Re: best filter to use for growls?
EQs. Boosting and cutting a particular frequency along with the movement of the sound is the best for growling. Pretty standard for any sound really. Just try out filters and see what works, they all have they're place. Chances are you're going to get your best results as a combination of more than...

Re: best filter to use for growls?
ya anything that is midrange and sounds dirty im goin for. Massive + WOW filter will literally make me a whole new producer, cause as of now im stuck with the premium patches that came with my software. no vowel sounds, i can only make wubs and weak roars. and im not even trying to mess with shitty...

Re: PreSonus Studio One Presence/Mojito
To answer your second question, no, your cant add mojito to presence. Presence is a rompler with a fixed library. So what you see is what you get. And for your first question, the filters in presence arnt going to give you too much dirt on there own. There mostly hp/lp sort of things. Also the buil...

PreSonus Studio One Presence/Mojito
Ive got a few questions... I know its a pretty unknown DAW, which is fine, I like it and Id prefer it over others. But there isnt much about it in terms of advanced tutorials on youtube. unless they dont have a lot of views or something, because I cant find anything... So if you know of some please ...

Re: best filter to use for growls?
i wouldn't use camelphat though, i think it sounds super digital, i would rather use just a simple filter, a free one like Crayon filter. Google it, it does the trick for me ( distance uses it in a tutorial ), just mess around with the filters and automate the cutoff, gives you some serious movemen...
