I've been playing around with d major scale, sounds light hearted and chill. I could use some suggestions with what works and what doesn't and where to go from here. Feed back much appreciated

agreed with the heavier kick. The highs come out stronger that anything else in the track, I the kick & reverb would fix that.

Its sounds good, I can't think of anything that sound too much or too little. What I don't like is that its too repetitive and when you wrote melodic I was expecting something that had more variation with notes.

just 1 thing I didn't like, and I noticed it after a second listen. I'm guessing you're taking a cymbal crash and reversing it. So yeah in the intro you 2 of the same reverses come right after one another. I would suggesting switching up one of those with transpose or a completely different cymbal.

Ok I made some changes to the bassline, I try not to use eq I feel like it takes away too much(that might be because I don't fully understand how to use it :/).
