Re: Reggae Samples

To up the cunty ante, why not just get a horn or organ instrument and program your own parts? I don't know bugger all about playing an instrument like that , yes I could learn but "Aint nobody got time for that!" Or if you meant horn and organ samples and program my own parts then that's ...

Re: producin on a friday night

If you have a real passion for making music and you want to go somewhere with it you need to put the time in. Sacrifices need to be made. I stopped going out almost altogether and when I did go out it felt like more of a treat , and I enjoyed it more. Plus producing while drunk is hard!.....9 times ...

Re: How to create intro for dubstep? Where to get inspiratio

Inspiration can come from anywhere when doing intros.
Me personally I like using string's and pads to build atmosphere while using some poignant vocal sample to set the tone.

Old audio books or sample packs are my go to for vocals .

Re: Producers with rentals: How do you avoid noise complaint

A couple of options spring to mind: 1) Kill your neighbours. This will work until someone notices them missing and you'll eventually get new ones or end up in prison. So... 2) Kill everyone in the world. LOL!!!!!!!!!!. But to answer OP It's headphones from 11, which is the usual noise complaint tim...

Re: My DAW is better than yours! (Friendly DAW Wars debate)

I'm a creature of habit and I hated software for YEARS and still used hardware sequencers. Friend taught me how to use Cubase SX3 and never looked back really. I'm on Cubase 5 now and know it like the back of my hand I find it hard to get to grips with new ways of working which is why I find it hard...

Re: How to Become a SoundCloud Superstar, One Fake Fan at a

Just don't see how buying bot comments on Soundcloud will do someones tunes any good. I'm just trying to see the positivity in things nowadays. Maybe a person who does in fact have good tunes could benefit from something like that. Granted in this day an age (with tech etc) things like this are con...

Re: How to Become a SoundCloud Superstar, One Fake Fan at a

If the persons music is good and people (who otherwise would not have known about this person) respond to it well , where is the problem? If the music sucks they wont go any further obviously. Not sure you read the article, this is about buying bots, not people. Yeah I gave it a read , I thought you...

Re: How to Become a SoundCloud Superstar, One Fake Fan at a

Was a good read. This sort of "promotion" technique is quite prominent nowadays I mean look at the whole Justin Beiber and Lady Gaga Twitter that came out. Over half of their fans are fake. Can be a good thing in a way for up and coming producers. Why not spend a bit of money on something ...

Re: Anyone have a Virus TI?

I LOVE the Virus sound, so gritty and raw yet capable of creating some seriously old skool sounding pads. I'm keen to know more about its TI function like how well does it actually work. Could I create sounds on the synth then load and control them in the VST without any loss of audio (through the u...
