Flux Pavillion, Zomboy, Heros X Villans, Roksonix,etc March 9th! who else is pumped up for this?

i want to get into making dubstep (as its my fav genre of music right now) and idk what software would be good, i've heard of ableton but i'm on a pretty tight budget right now so i'm looking for something cheap/free that doesn't completely suck.
