Re: Ideas For a Newbee

I forgot to mention, but here's a link to exactly the type of music I was talking about. This mix is literally jam packed with it. Just for the record, in case anyone out there was wondering.

Re: Ideas For a Newbee

Ooooh boy. You guys have fun with your dub steps. I'm going to check out of here. I've found using YouTube directly to be a much more effective music discovery means. You know, I went to a few dubstep shows in Miami Beach when I was in college and everyone there was super chill and friendly (in real...

Re: Ideas For a Newbee

That's not funny, man. My best friend's third grade teacher's cousin's pizza delivery guy's hamster killed himself after being bullied in a music-related forum. I take that stuff very seriously. You need to think about who you're hurting before you say things like that.

I can only imagine Phil Collins would commit suicide if he heard that.

Re: Ideas For a Newbee

It just occurred to me to post an example of something I've heard that I'm looking for. Check out the link below of a Key and Peele sketch. I'm basically looking for that type of music. I'm wondering if the song in the sketch is an actual dubstep song?

Re: Ideas For a Newbee

come on guys, OP is blatantly a 10 year old boy who's just found his first soggy porno in a bush out the back of his primary school and needs some mid-range-bass-fueled way of discharging his new-found surge of testosterone. Someone help him out! Oh feck it, have some Reso http://www.youtube.com/wa...

Re: Ideas For a Newbee

Wow, two different people had the exact same "Corntard" response to whatever I said earlier. What are the odds?

Re: Ideas For a Newbee

That one's not bad. I just caught wind of the "Harlem Shake" and that sounds about right except for the Spanish influences. I hate reggaeton. Thanks though for all the suggestions. I really appreciate your help.

Re: Ideas For a Newbee

Thanks. That stuff is definitely a mess. More like noise than music. I guess I'm looking for that but with more organization and rhythm. I think I need to just do a bunch of listening to find what I'm looking for instead of trying to describe it to people.

Re: Ideas For a Newbee

Thanks DRTY. I tried to listen with an open mind, but stuff like the tracks you just included in your last post or mind-numbingly boring to me (no offense meant, seriously). I need something more technical, aggressive, etc. I do seriously love the crazy, growling bass lines but I think I can find e...

Re: Ideas For a Newbee

Oh right. I usually just download what I want, then if I like it and decide to keep it, I'll buy it through iTunes or whatever the avenue may be. A lot of the music I listen to is from a long time ago and those artists have already gotten paid for their music. Or it's from an artist who doesn't char...

Re: Ideas For a Newbee

I can't believe you guys don't like that stuff. It's so in your face and involved. That's the kind of music that keeps me on the edge of my seat. And I just came across a bit of "Glitch Hop" as well. Pretty similar to Brostep, I guess. Oh well. To each their own.

Re: Ideas For a Newbee

Wow, I understand completely now. I didn't realize I was more accurately looking for "brostep" music. Just did a little listening, and that is definitely what I was looking for. Sorry to have offended everyone. I just genuinely didn't know that brostep was even a thing. Thanks for the help and helpi...

Re: Ideas For a Newbee

That's weird. I listened to the track and it was practically ambient music. I'm on a laptop so I couldn't hear the bass , but that track was the polar opposite of what I'm looking for. I just figured you were trying to be a dick. My apologies if not. > and I absolutely LOVE bass badtroll/10 Haha! G...
