Re: Freightener - Common Curses
Bump. Looking for some serious criticism or just plain "I don't like it". Thanks.

Re: newcomers -> introduce yourself here
Hi I'm a newcomer to the production scene. I don't have a lot of people that can criticize my songs so I'm looking forward to that here. I've been producing for about a year, live in California, and I love dubstep. Looking forward to becoming a more active member. Not much else to say. Not sure why ...

Re: Cornflayk - Mend
Nice little intro. Like the atmosphere of the main bit. Not so sure about the choir melody thats at the end of the main part. Really like that sort of static electricity sounding synth your using.

Re: Jez-R - Tanger (chill`ishstep)
Pretty good, as said before, considering you comp situation. But I think its a bit long for its contents. And some reverb would be nice, maybe some different pads.

Re: Chopstix-Stainless Steele (Sort of Trap) Mastering tips
Interesting. Not really my genre I guess. But might I suggest placing an EQ on the snare and cutting out some of the white noise (or the synths)? My biggest criticism would be that there is a lot of white noise sound in it, I think its probably just some frequencies clashing that you could do withou...

Re: ALEX AEGIS - BAYONETTA (DUBSTEP/DRUMSTEP@150BPM)
Sounds are pretty cool, but I think you need to work on the master, there's too much white noise or something. I think you might wanna trade some hats out as well. Also the lead synth gets tiresome, maybe save it for the main bit and use different pads for the intro etc?

Re: Mowy Wowy - Jaywalk (Oldschool/clean modulations)
To be honest I don't like it much, but there is something to work with and build upon for sure. The drums have too much space, feel empty and don't wanna showcase that really. That and the bass synth is really boring and repetitive. The sound is cool though.

Re: My remix of Altazer's "My Bad"
It's pretty good. I haven't heard the original so I dunno how much you've changed but I like it. My criticisms would be that there is a shaker or something in the left ear that's really annoying, and that although the song changes a good deal, the sounds get tiresome towards the end. Could just be t...

Re: Soundproof - Revolution in paradise (Damian Marley)
I like it, it's really good. Don't really have any major criticisms except maybe that I wish the bass would change more later in the song. Intro is really strong. Good work.

Re: Sobie - Nanking (deep, 140, space)
I like the vibe. But it sounds like it needs to be turned up in the mix. Certain elements are way too quiet like the bass.

Re: Firefall Trailer (All feed returned!) Dubstep
I think it went really well with the video. I agree that the gunshots are too loud. I think when the big monster thing first appears and the camera rises the music didn't mesh as well as the rest of the trailer. Should have been some kind of change in the song to match the ominous feeling, idk its n...

Re: Frequency Dreams-Alien Rainforest (Deep/eerie Dubstep)
I think its pretty good. The last part could use some more variation I think, which could be introduced by a different bridge. I don't like the reverb on that one particular percussive element. It should either be a consistent reverb or just more sparsely laid out in the track. It sounds a bit awkwa...

Trying to make something different with the basic wobble. The intro is pretty weird but uh... give it a chance yeah? Thanks.

Re: Freightener - Originz (Dubstep/Hero)
Felt the intro was a bit too long before the main meat of the tune got going, maybe think about shortening it a little or else introducing some of the elements a little earlier. Like how the drum programming varies from 3m02s onwards, gives a bit more variation to carry the tune through. Thanks for...

Freightener - Originz (Dubstep/Hero)
https://soundcloud.com/freightener/originz Looking for some feedback on this. Constructive criticism is welcome. I tried to give the song an overall full sound. I'm using many more different midi tracks than I'm used to so it was a challenge to master and if you hear something there as well I'd lik...
