Re: Layering kicks with phase

Re: How can I stereo-ize my sound without causing phasing is

Yeah there are a few ways to achieve a wider stereo feild, one way which you mentioned you did with the melda plugin (great suite btw) is that it's goig to 'stereoize' by delaying one of the l or r channels in ms. Another way to add widness and avoid phasing would to use a mid/side eq to eq the side...

Re: Sampling Prodigy's "Crazy Man"?

Heres my effort just using RX. A combination of this and surgical EQ would probably do the trick

Re: Komplete Kontrol announced (offically)

Yeah I was a bit underwhelmed. At first I thought they were going to tie in Komplete 10 with a keyboard controller, and that it wouldnt work without. Kinda like the biggest dongle ever haha

Glad its not

Re: Vibe Devices Across Your Whole Mix

Well, I can see why they are doing it. Its pretty much the only un-cracked method of anti-piracy that exists, apart from DSP stuff like UAD.

Re: Vibe Devices Across Your Whole Mix

I use the slate VCC for all channels. Leave it mostly untouched on each channel. Its very subtle, but when you a/b a track with them all on vs off you just cant leave them off! They sound so good! I also use Slate VBC sometimes on the master 2buss, typically with the 'grey' ssl clone. Amazing sound....

Re: My drop doesnt live up to my build up

Write the main part of the track first and then concentrate on the buildup/midbreak/end. Gotta make the filling before wrapping it up in crust

Re: Re-evaluating my production methods/habits

Logic is great, but since I swapped to ableton I have been asking myself why I didn't do it sooner! Amazingly fast workflow, like I can get beats down in half the time than in logic. Also I love its general handling of audio (not its audio stretching). Its as simple as only having 2 tools. Your mous...

Re: Feedback Thread

So I just left some feedback, and was wondering if anyone could give me some on this- https://soundcloud.com/libra-uk/clubfoot I was inspired to make this after hearing some old dark DnB tapesI had found in a shoebox. I think I've captured 'that sound' in a house music style. Its also a free/donate ...

Re: Feedback Thread

Hello everyone. I've been lurking for a very good while (had another account but didn't like the username anymore!), this will be my first post. To shortly introduce myself, I come from a lineage of DJs. My grandfather spinned in the age of disco, and my father is a known name in the canadian techn...

Re: Music distribution / free tunes

Yeah think that might be a problem with the mobile app or website as the link to bandcamp is in the players 'buy' button as well as in the description, but not in the title. And thanks. I use a different synth almost every time haha. Any specific track? I need your love was FM8 and then resampled i...
