Re: The Australian electronic scene
If there was frequent Dubstep there I think I'd probably go there. However, doctor warewolf doesn't count as Dubstep.

Re: Help me get into techno
No problems. There's HEAPS of good shit out there. Just gotta be constantly on the lookout, hopefully that book will give you some places to expand and look too. Also, I think there is a PDF floating around on the net though I personally prefer a physical copy.

That kookaburra track goes so well in a club! It's just infectious. Gotta be seen to be believed but I would say it's one of the biggest tunes of the year.

Re: Mid bass ala Night Hunter
Yeah, I've read that it was FL Sytrus actually. I just use a Mac with ableton so have no idea. I've actually gotten close to the sound using Omnisphere (have been trying non stop this week since setting up new studio in my spare room with good results). I think the gist of it is a combination of int...

Re: Joy Orbison – Essential Mix BBC Radio 1 (25.07.2014)
That cut above is from a kowton radio show where you can hear him saying it's forthcoming livity.
I also had a word to Kowton when he came to Sydney a couple of months ago about it. He said that Bruce is actually a relative of Joe, hence the similar names and connection to Hessle.
