Re: Tip for drums in FL studio
This is probably the most tedious way to side chain in fl... Its volume automation you're doing, not sidechaining. To sidechain you need a signal to be inputed into your synth for it to be doing something, you are just manual doing volume cuts and instead of doing your massive and serum master volum...

Re: Dark Robotic Sound
I'll say it one more time and thats it. To get robotic sounds you need to first get a decent preset that sounds pretty metallic or whatever, I use operator a I know what to look out for when making a sound, in massive I would suggest use one of the generic throat waves and use +/- then its just all ...

Re: things that have made you happy today
10k for your first car sounds mad lol, insurance would probably be a bitch unless you're extremely well off or insurance isn't required in America? Yeah its nuts, might not even do it tbh. Might just pay for something cheap like 240sx and then do work on that and make a little drift car. Sell that ...

Re: things that have made you happy today
South Africa lol, been in the states for 15 years and only tell us now about our case. They sent a letter saying stuff about the case and all this other garbage and basically we were fucked. Talked to this new lawyer and said it was bullshit for them to send this letter since they knew this informat...

Got a zoom h2n this past weekend and did some recordings. Heres a small little pack with two atmospheres I made and depending on the demand will be a second one shorty. Got it recorded and shared it to some friends but not sure if the dubstep community cares for foleys that much. Theres the download...

Re: Koan sound Reese.
Koan sound uses reason and basically all they "Said" they use for saws and squares in maeltstrom. Im not going to go over how to make a reese but all there sound is post processing. You not going to get it with basic filtering high and low pass. They will use everything from notch, double n...

Re: Bass Wobble Frequency Range?
Okay in terms of frequency again the only frequency Id highly suggest is that the sub be at a solid 40hz 40hz? A lot speakers dont even play well that low.... and frequency range is subjective :6: Its whatever sounds good to your ear. If you hear something lacking in the low end then highpass it to...

Re: Djahsta Basses. (and does this sound like djahsta)
I told 9skies(Akrukia) this before I think its best to do this inside fm. Im an ableton user, so i tried going through the route of using operator and all native and one external plugin. You can't just some use a random patch and throw delays, tight reverb, phaser and chorus and make something unique...

Re: Layering Samples for DnB
Also make sure the transients of both kick samples are lining up perfectly. If they dont line up they phase out and sound flabby. This, you can use this to get cleaner kicks or if you slightly phase the kicks you can get different sounding ones. I'll do a tutorial in the next week or so how to edit...
