Re: WIP Thread - GIVE FEEDBACK TO OTHERS BEFORE POSTING!!!
https://soundcloud.com/mordern-1/supply-and-command-work-in-progress I'm not happy with the bass sound in the intro, and I know the build ups are a little messy... Any input would be appreciated. I know I need to practice to get better at mixing, but I think it's hard to figure out exactly what I n...

Re: Buying a pair of KRK
I love my KRKs, i have the 8's. People knock them a lot, but everyone who actually has them likes them. I dont think they color that much, and OP you said you want low end power, thats what KRKs are known for. They might not be the flattest monitors, but I really like mine, especially with the low e...

Re: Clean AU sampler similar to Ableton Live's "Sampler"?
Of all the things I miss from switching from ableton to logic, sampler is the biggest loss. Great little device there, so simple and intuitive, unlike the ESX24 in my experience

Re: Final Mix DB Level
This is a very vague question, and hard to answer without a reference and a goal.... but generally, your pre-master mixdown should have plenty of headroom. How much.. I dont know, depends on what youre going to do with it and who is working with it and what headroom they prefer when mastering, but g...

Re: dubstep wobble help
I wouldnt use ozone for major filtering duties... it can EQ for sure, but if youre talking about getting your bass movement filtering I wouldnt really use it for that...it can do some distortion but I wouldnt really call it a distortion unit. I could see it for stereo imaging and dynamics though...

Re: dubstep wobble help
I was referring to Ohmicide specifically, thats why I highlighted it. It has a way of thinning out sounds and making things very harsh in the mids/highs As for recommendations, I do use ohmicide (sparingly) and usually I have one or two bands on specific ranges Camelphat is great, Trash is good too,...

Re: dubstep wobble help
When I finish the song ill post it so you guys can hear what I mean. I add a simple sub underneath my wobble, I usually add some effects from Camelphat Omicide [/color] or sausage fattened and they seem to just not hit hard. Almost like weak sounding. Im using very love notes too so idk if thats th...
