I intend to get out and perform in local clubs around Manchester when I move into halls later this year, just wandering Is there an application process or something or do you have to know someone? Are Macs actually better than PC's?
Thinking of getting a laptop, don't know whether to get a windows or Mac though. Are macs actually better or is it just something thats said in an attempt to justify the price tag? I've used both and they just annoy me, the single click button especially. If they are actually a lot more stable then ...

How to downtune a vocal an octave and still keep it clear?
Been using ableton's transposition. Makes it sound way too muddy. Is there a better way? Looking for something like what's used in this (25 secs onwards)

What sound is this at the beginning?
played right at the start, underneath the drums.
can't tell whether or not it's some kind of transposed down audio of a bass sound or a bass with a high pass etc.

Re: that next level growl
Sounds like a normal growl just an octave lower than normal. Usually this sounds abit distorted and weird but he's either processed or patched it in such a way to avoid that

Just stumbled upon these, quite interesting to see where he gets his stuff from. Didn't realize so much was sampled.
