Re: Your music & what it means to YOU.
it's great to enjoy music! but, i mean any symbol. a triangle doesn't have to mean illuminati. a triangle could mean : 3, triads, fire. things like that. i was wondering if told, would you let them use symbols to represent you... because i think it's a great idea.

not illuminati exactly. i do know what you mean, but not all symbolism has to be related to a conspiracy.

Your music & what it means to YOU.
i am very proud of myself, not in an arrogant way, i believe i can do anything with my music. i want to know what makes you keep pushing through: are you unsigned, are you signed; if given the chance would you use the industry's symbolism... do you think the music industry is using these symbols to ...

reminds me of sirens. the vocal seems too loud, but all in all nice bass and good placement on the drop. nice hit hats also.

Re: Reggae "dun dun dun" sound + Other Questions (vocoder)
i am also curious on how to use a vocoder. how to "autotune" in a certain key instead of having to tweak every single note by ear.

Re: Beat Music Makers
the only instuments i can play are drums and piano. i took classes when i was younger. i know the basics, and i play by ear, and i can also read music. i just stuggle with (example) if a song is in Dminor what other keys/chords go along with it. right now the only theory i have is "if it sounds...

Re: Beat Music Makers
i've come to this forum for some help. i have been producing on and off since 2009. i found that i am not best at dubstep & trap. i'm best at samples & timestretching, one problem is: not knowing music theory. i change my samples to which key i see that fits the rest of my drums. how can i l...

Re: Irraik - Enki's Prayer (hip hop/trippy)
Interesting. Very Three Six Mafia kind of vibe. The kick could use a bit more snap with a quick attack through compression. Other than that, I really can't say anything bad about it. Pretty nice effort. The samples really come together and blend in well. thank you for the kind words. compression is...

Re: Old School Hip Hop Beats
i don't know how to explain it, i'm not trying to start a new genre.
i just use lex samples and young chop samples. add reverb & delays to old samples.
and use old hip hop/funk loops. slice some vocals and mix. i want to add others who mess with hip hop.
