Re: What Standalone Sequencer/Sampler offers most?
Thank you for the suggestions, really having a hard time deciding but have been spending days on reading and watching tutorials on these devices, can't seem to find anything that isn't cheesy sounding techno/trance/house. Then again, I haven't really heard any stand alone artists that sound anything...

What Standalone Sequencer/Sampler offers most?
I'm interested in getting AWAY from the computer and onto a standalone device. Will be busking with it. This explains best what I am doing ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eBxEmuFmBMI ) but I also understand I may not be able to work in my own way as every sampler has it’s limitations that I must b...

Who's frequency chart is it anyways?
I've found a couple of these on the internet and some are different from eachother... Why is that? Do you have other charts? What chart would you say is the most accurate? Im looking for one that shows the low mids and highs like the ones I provided.. http://i113.photobucket.com/albums/n204/saneoner...

Sound Design & Song Improvising w/o Controller
My goal is to not press stop and make a song from scratch without a controller. Between init patches and desired sound, I design in a musical way as if it were a performance, similar to how a djing selects songs between songs except Im making the songs that im switching between. Another key is to le...

Skrillex's/Jauz fuck that bass
Just wondering how this bass is made that kicks in around 0:07: https://www.facebook.com/video.php?v=1591695897714826
And in skrillz track 1:03 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kinFrx1nRS4
sounds to me like highs are cut except some mid-hi's and then put in plate reverb

Making music on computers: The fading flame of the phoenix
In the beginning... Learning something new is an exciting experience, perhaps it's what reminds us that we are still children going out into an awesome, beautiful world. There is so much to learn but at the end of the day, you do it for yourself because you enjoy it, you do it for others because you...
