the fluttering reece is just the evil bass line low passed iirc. i got fairly lucky with that reece sound honestly, i think it was a tail resampled off the bass groove and then distorted in ohmicide. i remember freezing and flattening the track and then thinking i'd regret doing that further down ...

ah wow, thanks for the votes guys. voted for track 3 myself - compositionally, i think it's a fair bit stronger than my entry. well done to all 3 entries though.

i'd be happy to talk about what went into the sound design although my process is fairly destructive so i don't have every step of it ...
