The ending raised my attention though, the track felt a lot better with the real drum sounds. It bought the entire track out of ...

Multiple layers, 100's of resampled elements, manual micro-editing of elements plus years of practice/trial & error etc. Also professional listening equipment. I don't think resampling is essential, I think it's a process held in high regard but it doesn't really solve anything. I also don't th...

Re: Ableton not properly loading previous Massive preset set

Have you tried: Deleting the Massive Database in Native Instruments under AppsData on PC Reinstalling Massive I did try deleting the database but I did not try reinstalling it, I will give that a go. Just buy it, give the developers some support, after all it's their job and they need to earn a liv...

Re: About Creativity

I feel what you're saying, I actually was curious and starting working with some straight audio clips just now, experimenting, and got some pretty weird results. I might work with audio some more, I just hate having to unfade everything when dropping in drum hits. BTW fuck clicking around in your D...

Re: Getting energy into leads

Think about the notes you're using and even if the lead isn't so great the rhythm and melody played will make all the difference, for example try some staccato notes and some rhythms that sweep up and down the scale quickly
