Re: Seven Lions tutorial! In depth
I'm not trying to be an ass, but, I honestly don't understand why you bothered making and posting a video that basically just tells people to use presets and patches from other tutorials. The tune sounded pretty nice though... No man the concept was to teach the way to make the sound not to use pre...

Re: The Official Growl Bass Thread
Worked up some new growls while making this remix. Just tried to work on making them sound good and clean, not necessarily moving forward with the hook sound or skrilly bass. https://soundcloud.com/avinosis/far-too-loud-acid-9000 let me know if anyone is interested in a particular one. i'll gladly s...

Now for my Growl Process: Saw Wave > Soundgoodizer or Sausag Fattener > HP Filter > MultiBand Distortion(distort the Mid slightly and distort the Highs) > EQ (cut the low end) > Vowel Filter (whatever you prefer) > EQ (boost the highs) > Soundgoodizer or Sausage Fattener > Stereo imager(for width) ...

Re: SEVEN LIONS SUPERSAW PERFECTED!
Well Senors first of all! I have been trying to acheive a sound like that for like a year. I am starting to understand it and I didnt just use the FLP obviously, clearly theres more than just the sound he achieved in that video. :i: well.... since you "obviously" didn't just use the FLP, ...

Re: WIP Thread - GIVE FEEDBACK TO OTHERS BEFORE POSTING!!!
@nameless Great tune mate, love the rinsey sounds you're using, you switch them up nicely on the second drop and keeps it fresh. Only thing I can add is maybe you should add another sound in at 2:03 to carry it through, a string would sound nice or maybe a 909 hi hat on the 1.2 and 1.4 between the ...

I love them heavy reeses. :W: Been working with harmor a lot on mine. Any chance you could link me to some tips on this sound? BTW i know dem reese's are off topic bu...

I kinda figured the OP was just posting for plays and likes. He has yet to even comment back on any sort of hints/tips/clues on those sounds.

Re: The Official Growl Bass Thread
Sooo I made this growl using two growls, one modulating the other in a vocoder. https://soundcloud.com/perikardium/growl-vowel-practice/s-UX16Y Sounds pretty dope. I wouldn't mind seeing how you did this maybe screenshots?. It sounds a little harsh in my opinion but with a little tweaking could pro...

LOL. I realize the reese is the same melody as her vocals, I guess I meant any more thoughts on that particular reese sound and how they got the vowels/formants to almost match up perfectly.kaili wrote: you use the same notes as she sings? dont see why u wud ask that

Re: The Reese Bass Thread
So this is my first time using time massive for reeses, I used the Chrome wavetable and only used bandreject. I used Frequent's tips from Covex about turning on the restart via gate, adding 4 unison, and then moving the vibrato depth just a tiny bit (you can't even see it) so you can get good phasi...

Re: The free download thread
The drop on 5 seconds feels a bit awkward. I agree, it's not the best song on the EP. Probably the weakest content wise, But I appreciate the feedback. What would you change? How do you feel about Force? or Onward? We're releasing a drum step remix of onward soon, and i just want to get peoples tho...
