This is a build-up/drop i juste started working on (not mastered): http://www77.zippyshare.com/v/70813498/file.html It sounds so thin...or does it?I think it does. I think I am not...

Ok cool, I will try that with CamelPhat and see what it does. Thank you for the tips!fragments wrote:I was thinking more along the lines of tape or tube saturation, different settings for a couple different buses. But yea, try that too. Ferric TDS is free and pretty awesome.

Re: Are you using pads?
You could also try parallel saturation across multiple elements. Well yeah, of course parallel saturation lol Ok I might try that at the mastering stage with Ozone and it's exciter. Thanks for the tip. Ozone and its exciter won't fix a flat mix. Its there for added sparkle if the tune can be pushed...

Are you using pads?
Actually should you use pads? When I compare my tracks to those of Trollphace, they sound thin. My guess is that I'm not filling up the frequency spectrum. In my drop I have a kick, snare, hi-hats, bass, sub...but it does not do the job. So I thought about using a pad, since it uses the complete spe...
