I consider anything that has a BPM of 105 or 140, dubstep. But that's just my opinion.

I would suggest just turning all the sounds down under -8 db and have the kick at -7 db and have it side-chained and have the snare at -6 db and then just bring up the master volume with the limiter or some kind of compressor. That's the way I do it at least.

This is definitely a track i would smoke to. I like the synth too. Its kinda eerie. But a good listen.
