Re: Can you put a free download on a bootleg remix?
Thank you so much for the reply! That is what I had thought, but wanted to make sure. I figure it would be pretty worthless of them to sue if I make no money off of the song. Also I only used the vocal track for the bootleg and everything else in the track is original. (whether that changes anything...

Can you put a free download on a bootleg remix?
Hey guys, yesterday I released my new bootleg of Fix You by Coldplay.(Track is in my sig) I would like to put a free download link for the track, but I really don't want to get sued by Coldplay. I tried sending an email to their office to ask if it would be ok, but they basically replied just saying...

Re: The Official Growl Bass Thread
Hey guys! I just finished/released a new track today~a remix of Fix You by Coldplay. I made a lot of growls in the second drop, and if anyone wants to know how I did anything I would gladly explain how I did them.

Rameses B vocal chop?
Rameses B always has these weird vocal chops in his songs. They don't sound like the typical vocal chop because there is some sort of roboty-sounding effect to them. Also no matter who is singing, they sound very similar from song to song of his. Any ideas on how he does his chops or if there is any...

Venemy new life pt 2 growl?
https://soundcloud.com/venemyofficial/03-venemy-ft-notelle-new-life?in=venemyofficial/sets/new-life-ep First of all, I absolutely love this song, but am having no luck with replicating the growl. How would you go about making the growl that hits right at the drop, but seems to be automated in throu...

Re: Best vst synth around
updating about the imageline plugins... definitely some bugs currently, but for the most part they work well. Sytrus is working great, and I figured out the automation issues. Wasn't even considering getting an fm synth prior to this, but growls are really easy in it and you can make so many differe...

Re: Best vst synth around
ya just playing around with it right now...harmless and harmor seem to be working well. Sytrus is a little buggy in that it crashes logic some times, but the fact that I can use it is amazing. Only real complaint so far is that automation seems to only work in the minihost, so you have to set up an ...

Re: Best vst synth around
well I guess it wasnt too good to be true...just downloaded the plugins and minihost modular from imageline and they seem to be working really well. The pack came with harmor, harmless, sytrus, edison, vocodex, etc. Awesome stuff!

Re: Best vst synth around
Ok so I looked into it and it looks as though imageline has put up a lot of their plugins for test with mac users. You just need an imageline account in order to have access to them. Any idea if there is a catch to this? Just signing up for a free account and downloading them seems to good to be tru...

Re: Best vst synth around
I agree about massive...right now it is the only paid vst synth I have and basically the only one that I use for pretty much everything. But as you said, I find that it is limited for supersaws and plucks, and even from layering a lot of sounds together, the supersaws still sound quite similar. Let ...

Re: Best vst synth around
I don't currently have an fm synth, but have been considering getting one. The main reason that I do not have one is because typically fm are great for growls, but as you can tell from the songs in my signatures, it isn't necessary with my music to have large complex growls. I'm sure that at some po...

Re: Best vst synth around
ok I have heard that serum is awesome for making awesome bass sounds but how is it with pluck, supersaws, and higher frequency sounds? Sounds so far like sylenth is the favorite...I know it has nice presets, but how is it for making your own sounds?

Best vst synth around
So right now I have Massive as my primary synth. I love it and I am able to make practically all of the bass sounds that I need to make, but I feel as though it suffers with making nice smooth higher sounds such as plucks and softer supersaws. I have debated getting sylenth for a while now because I...

how to make this AU5 pluck?
https://soundcloud.com/au5/juventa-feat-kelly-sweet-superhuman-au5-remix How would you go about making the pluck that is heard from the beginning of the song through the verse? I've heard similar sounds in other songs like "In your wake" by said the sky and illenium, but can't figure out ...
